Samantha, Tyler and Apollo are both too cute!  We adopted a Golden and a kitten from our local rescue organization.  I hope they have a great turn out and it's wonderful that you are helping to spread the news!

Samantha - Sounds like it's going to be a great event.  As a long time dog mama, all of my fur babies are rescued ones.  Hubby and I wouldn't have it any other way.

Samantha, what a great localism post and sounds like a great event.  With the economy on the downside, so many people are abandoning pets because they can no longer afford to keep them.  This is a great step towards remediating the problem.

I've so glad you fabulous ladies have adopted your pets from a Shelter! I bet they couldn't be happier :) and thanks for your kind words on me helping to spread the news of this great event! Like Leah said, so many people are abandoning their pets because they can't afford them (tear) and this Adopt-a-Thon is a great way to help!
